Risk and Return Profiles in Equity and Debt Capital Investment in Infrastructure

The "Risk and Return Profiles in Equity and Debt Capital Investment in Infrastructure" study is the first investigation by the Research Center for Financial Services at the Steinbeis University Berlin with the support of DekaBank. The objective of the study is an analysis of the predicted and actual riskreturn profiles of various types of infrastructure investments in consideration of various capital structures. In addition to a more detailed examination of equity capital-based investments, it will also look at the previously frequently ignored possibilities of debt capital-based investments in infrastructure. The study is based on expert interviews with a representative sample of those responsible for capital investments at institutional investors in Germany, investment consultants and product providers. Databases were used for performance calculations.

The study "Motives and Origins of Gold Ownership among Private Individuals in Germany" is the second study by the Research Center for Financial Services at Steinbeis University Berlin about gold ownership by private individuals. It aims to close this gap in research and knowledge. In addition to the presentation of origin types and the timings of gold possession, this study analyses the motives and attitudes to gold and money and gold stability in detail by asking a variety of questions. The Steinbeis-survey is based on a representative survey of 4,297 individuals over the age of 18 as well as own calculations.

Silver Ownership by Private Individuals in Germany

The study „Silver Ownership by Private Individuals in Germany" is the first investigation for the analysis of silver ownership in private households in Germany conducted by the Research Center for Financial Services at the Steinbeis University Berlin. The aim of the research project is to close the previously existing research and knowledge gaps in the area of silver ownership among private individuals and to complete the data about precious metal of German citizens additional to the study „gold ownership by private individuals in Germany. Furthermore, the study aims to analyse silver ownership of German private individuals and illustrate its structure. The Steinbeis-survey is based on a representative survey of 1.122 individuals over the age of 18.

Gold Ownership by Private Individuals in Germany

The study "Gold Ownership by Private Individuals in Germany" is the first investigation for the analysis of gold ownership in private households in Germany conducted by the Research Center for Financial Services. The aim of the research project is to close the previously existing research and knowledge gaps in the area of gold ownership among private individuals. This will contribute to increased transparency, whereby overall assets can be supplemented by a previously unconsidered stake in gold. Furthermore, this will also allow us to come to conclusions about the investment behaviour of German private households.
The Steinbeis-survey is based on a representative survey of 3,248 individuals over the age of 18 as well as own calculations.
