The Center for Asset Management Studies is based in Munich and is part of the Research Center for Financial Services at the Steinbeis University Berlin, it has its research focus on the asset managers and the asset management market in Germany as well as Europe and the world. In the context of this research focus, several studies and papers have been published within the last few years. The objective of the Center for Asset Management Studies is to enhance payment transactions through scientific investigations. The Center for Asset Management studies is therefore supposed to build a bridge between the academic research and practically useful experiences. Directors of the institute are Professor Dr. Jens Kleine, Professor for financial services at the Steinbeis-University Berlin, and Professor Markus Venzin, Professor for strategic management at the university L. Bocconi in Milan. Furthermore the team consists of several research and graduate assistants.
